Welcome to Whispers from the Heart

Women Supporting women to rebuild their Recovery Capital

What is Whispers From the Heart

Whispers from the Heart is a forthcoming book created by and for women in recovery from substance use, and YOU have the opportunity to contribute. It is designed as a companion and guide for those embarking on journeys of self-discovery, healing, and empowerment. Written by women who have walked similar paths, the book offers solidarity, wisdom, and encouragement to those who may feel uncertain or “sitting on the fence” about recovery from substance missuse

Vision and Purpose

Whispers from  fromthe Heart is more than a book; it is a movement. It seeks to amplify women’s voices, preserve their legacies, and provide daily inspiration for those navigating recovery. By contributing, readers and writers alike become part of a collective effort to break cycles, build resilience, and create lasting change.

The book will contain 365 legacy letters, one for each day of the year, written by women who once doubted themselves but have since learned to prioritise their needs and break free from cycles that once held them captive.

  • For women in recovery: Daily encouragement, reflection, and guidance.
  • For wider audiences: A resource for practitioners facilitating workshops, fostering empathy and understanding of women’s recovery journeys.
